Agaknya perang BB vs Android di Indonesia bakalan lebih seru. Secara di sini orang lebih seneng BBM an drpd Androidan hehhhe. Tapi jangan salah Mas bro and Mbak sis..Kalau di seluruh dunia, pangsa pasar Android lebih besar lho...sekitar 52% nan lah....

Pihak developer menjadi arti penting bagi Android. Oleh karena itulah Android Team memutuskan untuk membuka sebuah program bernama 'Android Training'.

Agaknya, ini menjadi strategi untuk menarik lebih banyak developer ke platform Android. Program ini pun sepertinya didedikasikan untuk membantu para 'calon' developer yang ingin membuat aplikasi di atas platform besutan Google tersebut.

Berbagai topik dihadirkan dalam kelas-kelas online Android Training seperti navigasi aplikasi yang efektif, mengatur audio playback hingga pembelajaran mengenai bagaimana mengoptimalkan daya tahan baterai.

Karena masih baru, program ini hadir di situs Android Developers dalam versi beta. Mengacu pada tim Android sendiri, kelas-kelas yang telah ada akan diperbanyak dan akan tersedia dalam beberapa bulan ke depan.

Komik Tintin siapa sih yang ga kenal?..Apalagi sekarang di filmkan di layar lebar dan dibesut sutradara handal Steven Spielberg. Udah pad nonton belum??

"Saya memang salah satu animatornya. Tapi setahu saya ada beberapa orang Indonesia yang juga terlibat," kata character animator Tintin, Rini Sugianto, dalam perbincangan dengan detikcom, Kamis (15/12/2011) malam.

Rini merupakan karyawati Weta Digital, perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang animasi film. Ada sekitar 800 orang yang bekerja di perusahaan ini. Dan rupanya ada 3 orang Indonesia lainnya yang juga bergabung dengan perusahaan ini.

"Dua orang Indonesia lainnya yang terlibat di Tintin adalah Sindharmawan Bachtiar dan Eddy Purnomo. Kita beda departemen sih. Lalu ada satu lagi Amanda Pamela, tapi saya nggak tahu dia ikutan di Tintin atau tidak," ucap Rini.

Menurut dia, Sindharmawan dan Eddy Purnomo sudah lebih dulu bekerja di Weta. Sedangkan Rini sendiri baru bergabung di perusahaan tersebut pada 2011 ini.

Alumnus master dari Academy of Arts di San Francisco, California, ini senang bisa berpartisipasi 'melahirkan' film Tintin. Bagi Rini, Tintin adalah pengerjaan karakter animasi pertamanya.

"Senang banget. Sebulan setelah itu, kita nonton bareng-bareng di teater dan saya melihat nama Rini di big screen. Waktu itu hampir kelewatan, tapi lalu ditunjukkan oleh seorang teman," kenang perempuan yang hobi fotografi, travelling dan climbing ini.

Nyebelin banget ngga sih kalau seraching sesuatu yang muncul paling atas justru web atau blog sampah yang ga jelas asal usul dan ujung nya. Huft..T_T.

Apalagi kalau lagi urgent banget, kaya cerita raditya dika. Kalo lagi musim lebaran haji kaya gini, nyari kambing buat Qurban di internet, biasanya search di google dengan keyword kambing jantan. Tapi malah yang keluar download ebook kambing jantan punya raditya dika..males bangetttt.Itu masih mending. Saya yang punta toko online melfashop.com , merasa sangat terdzolimi ketika mencoba searching di google dengan keyword kebaya wisuda, yang keluar di urutan 1 alias pertamax malahan kebayawisuda.com yang isinya menipu. Untung sekarang dengan keyword itu, setelah beberapa lama melfashop.com tetep ada lagi ke urutan 1. Ini yang menyebabkan banyak orang merasa terdzolimi dengan blog sampah macam itu..

Sangkin kebanyakan komplain itulah sekarang google memperbaiki algoritma pencarian mereka supaya blog sampah macam kebayawisuda.com itu bisa terdepak.

Sabtu pagi yang cerah ceria...

Kebiasaan yang tak bisa ditinggalkan, duduk manis,pencet tombol ON di PC,cek email apakah ada yang konfirmasi transfer pembayaran untuk pembelian kebaya di toko onlineku....kebiasaan yang manis.

Ternyata di email ngga ada yang konfirmasi, ya udah cek ke bawah lagi...ada email dari Toko bagus (kalo yang ngga tau,ini situs iklan gratis terfavorit di indonesia -versi saya-). Ada pemberitahuan kalau ada aplikasi Toko bagus untuk pengguna android..wuihhhh keren cuyyy. Ini Toko makin hari makin keren aja..Kalo mau tau tampilannya gimana, cekidot aja ni pict nya..

Dan yang paling bikin semua jadi tambah cerah ceria,seperti biasa..Toko Bagus hanya memberikan semuanya yang Gratis-gratis alias free..free..free.

Pada jaman dahulu kala (sekitar awal tahun 2011)..melandri.com mendirikan anak perusahaan (hayhayahay....aminnn) yang bernaung di bawah kendali Facebook dengan nama melfa shop. Menjual komoditas export (alhamdulillah ya..sesuatu) berupa kebaya dan aksesoris pengantin, wisuda,pesta dll. Namun berhubung marketingnya merangkap jadi founder sekaligus admin , satpam dll (alias sendirian aja yang mengelola), maka perusahaan ini berjalan lambat macam gerry (siputnya sponge bob). Setelah cari mencari kesana kemari akhirnya menemukan sebuah situs penyedia iklan gratisan yang hasilnya ternyata sangat tidak mencerminkan ke-gratisannya. Tanya siapa? The one and only tokobagus.com. Setelah itu di dirikanlah situs marketing terbesar abad ini (aminnnn) www.andrifajarwati.tokobagus.com. Dan setelah beberapa lama mendulang sukses (alhamdulilah ya..sesuatu), didirikanlah anak perusahaan yang di namakan www.melfashop.com , yang bertujuan untuk menunjangperusahaan yang di bawah naungan facebook tadi.

Itulah sedikit cerita pendek tentang sejarah berdirinya melfashop.com dan cerita di balik layar menuju kesuksesan (aminnn)..

Dan sekarang alhamdulillah ya..sesuatu banget, udah bisa sedikit menunjang penghasilan pokok bulanan sebagai kuli tukang ngetik. Dan bisa di gunakan untuk sedikit mengisi rekening saya.

Cara Menyelamatkan Data Error dari CD yang rusak (baret)

Lagi mau meng-copy data super penting dari CD ke PC kok tiba-tiba ada tulisan beginian "Cannot Copy [nama file] : Data Error (cyclic redundancy check)."

Wedeww..jangan langsung sutris gitu dong..

* Pertama-tama yang harus dilakukan adalah eject lagi tuh CD Trus bersihin pake kapas sapa tau ada debu. Bila cara ini tetep ngga bisa,

* Coba cara kedua. Setelah CD di masukkan, buka My Computer, Klik Kanan di CD Drive nya Trus explore. Pasti bisa kebuka tuh kalo ngga parah, trus tinggal copy dech.

Dan bila ngga manjur juga, ini dia cara terakhir..

* Download Software Iso Buster yang fungsinya untuk me-recover file yang rusak pada CD dikarenakan rusak atau baret.Download aja versi gratisnya karena masih bisa di pakai walau cuma beberapa kali (ada expire nya). Atau cri key nya sendiri karena saya ngga bisa nyariin ^_^.

CD yang rusak itu masukin aja ke Drive, Trus buka tuh insataln ISo Buster-nya. dari situ nanti kebuka semua file yang ada dalam CD..

Nah..tinggal di Drag & Drop aja tuh file ke folder yang kita mau ...terselamatkan dech file kita....

Tapi jangan berharap bisa 100 % filenya bisa di selamatkan yagh....karena menurut buku tatang sutarma..Eh..menurut pengalaman saya file-file yang ada pas pada bagian baret CD itu, bakalan ngga bisa di Drag...jadi ya gitu dech..dari pada hilang semua, kan masih mending bisa selamet biarpu beberapa %.

Ojek menjadi salah satu alternatif angkutan umum di kota-kota besar, terutama di Jakarta yang hampir setiap hari macet. Selain cepat sampai tujuan, ongkos ojek pun cukup terjangkau.

Selama ini hampir tidak ada ojek yang dikelola secara profesional, baik dari layanan hingga operasionalnya. Ada satu nama, yaitu Go Jek yang bisa menjawab semua itu.

Chief Executive Officer Go Jek, Nadiem Makarim mengatakan, Go Jek mengoperasikan 400 armada. Motor ini bukan milik perusahaan, melainkan mitra bisnis Go Jek itu sendiri.

Ke depan, pria kelahiran Singapura ini optimis jumlah armada akan bertambah seiring bertambahnya mitra yang bekerja sama dengan Go Jek.

"Kita enggak ingin tambah, karena sudah banyak motor di jalan. Kita ingin ajak siapa saja ojek yang ingin bergabung dan kerja lebih keras," paparnya di sela-sela regional entrepreneurship summit, di Nusa Dua Bali, Sabtu (23/7/2011).

Go Jek yang menjadi salah satu pemenang Wirausaha Muda Mandiri ini pun langsung mendapat komitmen investasi dari Arthur Benjamin, salah satu investor dari Amerika Serikat (AS). Meski jumlah modal yang Arthur berikan minim, namun ini menunjukan potensi bisnis ojek yang dikelola secara profesional.

"Arthur akan investasi. Dan masih ada dua angle investor lain sedang melakukan pendekatan," ujarnya.

Namun, ia enggan menyebut nilai investasi yang ditanamkan Arthur Benjamin. "Ini jadi rahasia, namun jumlahnya masih minoritas. Namun ini menunjukan bisnisnya potensial, dan harus digedein di Indonesia," kata Nadiem.

Yang dibutuhkan perseroan dalam waktu dekat adalah tenaga marketing. Karyawan ini harus mampu mencari pelanggan baru, khususnya korporasi.

Hingga kini Go Jek memiliki 550 konsumen loyal, yang telah menggunakan jasa ojek ataupun mengantar barang. Jumlah order per hari mencapai 50-60 kali.

"Terdiri dari perusahaan, baik nasional atau multi nasional. Ibu-ibu juga. Kami yakin ini prospektif, dan dua bulan lalu total konsumen loyal kami baru 250 konsumen," imbuhnya.

Jika ingin bergabung sebagai mitra dari Go Jek ini, tinggal bermodalkan motor saja bisa. Kebutuhan lainny akan difasilitasi oleh Go Jek, seperti seragam dan helm.

"Jadi kita beri tawaran ke tukang-tukang ojek dengan skema bagi hasil. Nanti tukang ojeknya dapat mayoritas. Kita 35% sisanya 65% untuk tukang ojek," ujarnya.

"Haree Genee ga ngerti Internet...OMG...."

Agak lebay emang kalimat pembuka di atas, tapi memang itulah kenyataannya. Ngga cuma orang perkotaan saja yang mengerti internet wong deso pun sudah ngga kalah. Tengoklah tetangga saya di kampung yang sehari-hari kerjanya jadi tukang jualan buah kelapa dan pisang. Dia sudah piawai memainkan jari untuk meng-update status facebooknya dengan HP qwerty made in China itu.

Fenomena ini sangatlah baik bila dapat dimanfaatkan dari segi positifnya. Mari belajar bersama saya untuk memanfaatkan teknologi internet ini untuk mendapatkan penghasilan tambahan. Seperti yang sudah sering saya posting sebelumnya, bisnis online yang memanfaatkan blog diantaranya paid per click, paid review ,pay per post dll mungkin sudah terlalu "old school". Tapi itu juga jangan ditinggalkan , karena cara cara di atas tersebut juga bisa menambah penghasilan agan-agan juga.

Nah.. cara yang mungkin udah lama dipakai tapi dengan strategi baru yaitu, jualan online alias buka lapak online atau toko online. Dulu saya berminat sekali bisnis seperti itu namun terhalang modal karena harus mempunyai stok barang dulu, baru di jual ke konsumen. Banyak kerugiannya juga, bila barang di retur, kita akan rugi apalagi bila modal kita hanya pas-pasan.

Untuk mengakali itu, saya mencoba membuat toko online memakai facebook dengan mengambil foto dari toko online lain. Bila konsumen memesan, kita pesankan ke toko online yang kita ambil fotonya, kemudian minta toko itu mengirimkan barangnya ke alamat konsumen menggunakan nama pengirim dari kita. harga bisa dinaikkan sesuai keinginan kita dan itu sudah berhasil saya lakukan, sebulan dua bulan, bisnis mulai berjalan. order mulai banyak Alhamdulillah.

Kita tidak perlu mengeluarkan modal sepeserpun. Yang di butuhkan hanya strategi marketing dan sambungan internet bisa melalui HP,BB atau PC. So, tunggu apalagi? lakukan sekarang juga... jangan lupa datang ke lapak saya di melfshop.com (hehhehhe..salah satu strategi marketing juga, posting di blog)

Baca judulnya aja udah bikin ngeri, apalagi bagi yang biasa dapat penghasilan tambahan dari blogspot. heheheh....tapi tenang aja, baca artikel dari kompasiana berikut ya..biar ga jantungan lagi... ^_^

Proses perbaikan layanan Blogger.com tak kunjung usai sejak dilakukan pada tanggal 11 Mei 2011. Spekulasi pun mulai bermunculan di internet. Kabar yang saat ini tengah berembus, perbaikan paling lama sepanjang sejarah Blogger.com ini terkait rencana bahwa layanan tersebut akan segera ditutup pada 25 Juni 2011.

Seperti dilansir situs Softpedia, memang benar akan dilakukan penutupan terhadap layanan Blogger pada bulan Juni mendatang. Tapi tenang dulu. Layanan Blogger yang ditutup tersebut bukanlah secara menyeluruh, melainkan akun Blogger lama yang mendaftar sebelum tahun 2007 dan sampai sekarang belum mengintegrasikan akun Blogger mereka dengan akun Google.

Sebelum Blogger diakuisisi Google, layanan tersebut memang menggunakan sistem akun sendiri sampai tahun 2006. Setelah proses akuisisi dilakukan, baru akun baru mulai diberlakukan dan pengguna diminta melakukan migrasi pada tahun 2007.

Selama empat tahun itu ternyata integrasi tidak dilakukan secara otomatis sehingga pada akhirnya Blogger memutuskan akan segera menghapus dukungan bagi akun pengguna lama. Tidak hanya akan lama yang berhenti bekerja, tetapi blog yang terkait dengan pengguna lamanya pun tentu juga akan segera dihapus jika penggunanya tidak segera bermigrasi ke sistem yang baru pada 25 Juni 2011.

Sebelumnya, Google juga menghadapi masalah yang sama di YouTube dan telah mengeluarkan peringatan serupa baru-baru ini. Mereka meminta para penggunanya untuk memiliki akun Google terlebih dahulu.

Menurut informasi yang beredar, sebelum proses penutupan akun lama Blogger dilakukan, akan ada keterangan lebih lanjut sebelum 25 Juni 2011.

Makanya sekarang pada di benerin tuh akunnyadrpd di tendang ama mbah gugel. ^_^

Install Sound Driver di Windows XP SP3

hayhay...setelah sibuk dengan lapak baru ane di www.melfashop.com, akhirnya harus nengok laptop usang ane buat ngerjain tugas kuliah. Secara tiba-tiba tanpa permisi dulu flashdisk contekan temen ane yg udah di colokin ternyata nularin virus yang ganasnya melebihi kanibal. Udah ada 3 korban yang terdeteksi ketularan virus ini, PC kantor ane, Laptop cowo ane, Laptop ane sendiri. dari aplikasi yang gede-gede macem Photoshop 7.0, Delphi, Visual Studio bahkan ampe Avast antivirus pun di makan ama ni virus. Akhirnya ane kaga' bisa scan apapun. Dengan berat hati karena udah ga ada cara lain buat buang tu virus cara paling jitu format ulang.

Skip.... (karena format ulang ga usah di ceritain.. terlalu panjang)

Setelah di install bajakan Windows XP Sp3 yang beli di Cyber park bekasi, laptop ane udah bisa idup lagi dengan skin yang lumayan keren... Skin Ferrari gitu loh.^_^... CD Driver ori bawaan udah install semua, tapi ternyata ada yang cacat. laptop ane bisu + budeg. Suaranya kaga' keluar sama sekali. Kalo play musik, yang ada malah peringatan " Sound Driver belum di install". Sound Driver dari CD Driver bawaan ternyata ga bisa di pake di Sp3.

Paginya ane langsung muter kesana kemari cari info, setelah tanya mbah Google, akhirnya nemu forum di kaskus. Linknya ini nih. Alhamdulillah... setelah jalanin semua yang ditulis disitu, laptop ane udah bisa buat nonton film 3 idiots lagi. (favorit bgt,, nonton ini hampir 10x dan pasti bakal nambah lg). Thanx buat agan2 di kaskus yang udah sharing solusinya. kalo yang nemuin masalah sama kaya ane, ini caranya....ikutin aja.

- Download KB888111 for Windows XP SP2 (biasanya ada pada CD Driver Motherboard) linknya tanya ama mbah Google.
- Buka Registry Windows (klik Run >- Regedit)
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows cari CSDVersion
- Ganti CSDVersion dari 300 to 200 and Restart (300 berarti WinXP SP3, 200 berarti WinXP SP2, 100 berarti WinXP SP1)
- Install KB888111xp2.exe, ganti CSDVersion kembali ke 300 dan Restart
- Install device driver

Jangan tertipu dengan judul di atas. Ini tidak ada hubungannya dengan film dangdutan ataupun pekerjaan Tuna susila. Saya hanya sekedar mau membagi cerita saja. begini ceritanya,

Setelah sekian lama terlalu sibuk dengan urusan duniawi yang lain (lebay.com), akhirnya saya dikagetkan oleh kedatangan sebuah email dari paypal yang mengirimkan $2.50. Tidak seberapa besar memang bila ddibanding dengan pendapatan saya dari blogvertise yang rata-rata $10.00 per artikel, namun sedikit lebih membuat saya kembali menolehkan muka ke monitor PC dan memulai kembali aktifitas nge-blog yang sempat berhenti beberapa waktu dan membuat blog-blog saya hampir jablay alias jarang posting. Saya kembali baca email tersebut, ternyata kiriman dari ask2link. Bagi yang belum tahu, ask2link adalah Sebuah broker link (tempat jual beli link) dimana di situ kita bisa mendaftarkan blog kita sebagai tempat "nampang" link lain dengan kewajiban mereka harus membayar kita bila ingin memasang link nya di blog kita. Ini sama saja mereka ingin menambah backlink website mereka di blog kita.

Syaratnya mudah saja, datang ke ask2link.com, register dst, ikuti saja petunjuknya di web tersebut. Saya sendiri sudah mendaftarkan blog saya sekitar 1 tahun lalu, namun pendapatan dari ask2link memang tersendat dikarenakan PR yang tak kunjung naik. Untuk medapatkan hasil dari ask2link, syarat mutlaknya adalah blog harus laku alias banyak yang membuka alias PR nya tinggi. Dengan PR minimal 3, sudah merupakan modal yang cukup untuk bisa mendapatkan penghasilan melalui internet. Apakah itu dari broker link maupun article marketing. Meng-edit image atau gambar kini bukanlah sesuatu yang susah. Bingung Mau chating pake Yahoo Messenger (YM) sama cewe2 ato cowo2 selingkuhan?..(kidding). Image ini sebagai contoh di desktop PC aku. Caranya gampang. Ikutin langkah2 yang ntar di kasih, Dengan cara ini kamu2 bisa log in dengan berbagai ID kamu, unlimited (asal PC kamu bisa muat aja). ID A buat si A, ID B buat Si B, dst....(keren kan???).
Caranya gampang banget.

Baca Bissmillah (biar ntar kalo log in beda2 ID, selingkuh nya ga ketahuan)wkwkkwk.
Sign out dari YM kamu.
Klik "START"(pojok kiri bawah biasanya)
Klik RUN, ada kotak disitu, ketik "Regedit" apabila sudah diisi dg kata lain, ganti saja, "OK"
Cari Kode "HKEY_CURRENT_USER" > Software > Yahoo > Pager > Test, apabila tdk ditemukan klik saja tanda "+" untuk mencarinya.
Kemudian Test di "klik kanan". Lihat ke window kanan anda. Cari NEW > Dword Value. Rename jadi "Plural"

Bagi penikmt blog ini akan saya tawarkan artikel pertama berbahasa Indonesia saya sebagai berikut....(lebay alay )...

Kejadian Kecelakaan akibat gas elpiji bocor tentu sudah tidak asing lagi ditelinga kita akhir-akhir ini. Memang kebocoran Gas LPG bisa berakibat sangat fatal.
Maka LINDUNGI ORANG-ORANG TERCINTA dan ASET BERHARGA ANDA dengan
perlindungan selama 24 jam sehari dan 365 hari setahun dengan menggunakan
ALAT PENDETEKSI KEBOCORAN GAS ELPIJI.

Kebocoran gas ELPIJI bisa berasal dari :

* Kualitas Tabung, Regulator, Selang, Kompor, Water Heater dibawah standar
* Tabung, Regulator, Selang, Kompor, Water Heater rusak
* Pemasangan tidak sempurna

   gas elpiji berada dibawah ambang batas.

    bahwa sensor tidak berkerja, cabut sensor dari listrik 220V dan coba hubungkan
    dengan listrik kembali.

Cara Pemasangan :
Catatan : Sebagai informasi, gas elpiji adalah gas yang lebih berat dari udara

1. Pilih posisi instalasi yang tepat yaitu tinggi 0.3m - 1m dari lantai & radius dari
sumber gas < 1.5 m
2. Gantungkan sensor ke dinding dengan paku
3. Hindari instalasi yang terlalu dekat dengan ventilasi, kipas angin, pintu, jendela,
sumber uap, minyak, dll

Tindakan Darurat
Sensor akan berbunyi jika intensitas gas elpiji yang terdeteksi melebihi ambang
batas, Berikut adalah langkah-langkah yang harus dilakukan:

1. Matikan katup regulator pada tabung elpiji.
2. Buka jendela dan biarkan udara masuk.
3. Matikan sumber-sumber api.
4. Hindari pemakaian alat-alat listrik termasuk menyalakan lampu
5. Cek kebocoran gas dan hubungi petugas yang berpengalaman.

We use notebook for saving our personal data for example photos, videos, letter, bank account password etc. These kind of document is a personal document that must be keep in a save place. Steganography is the art and science of writing hidden messages in such a way that no one, apart from the sender and intended recipient, suspects the existence of the message, a form of security through obscurity. The word steganography is of Greek origin and means "concealed writing" from the Greek words steganos (στεγανός) meaning "covered or protected", and graphein (γράφειν) meaning "to write". The first recorded use of the term was in 1499 by Johannes Trithemius in his Steganographia, a treatise on cryptography and steganography disguised as a book on magic. Generally, messages will appear to be something else: images, articles, shopping lists, or some other covertext and, classically, the hidden message may be in invisible ink between the visible lines of a private letter.
The advantage of steganography, over cryptography alone, is that messages do not attract attention to themselves. Plainly visible encrypted messages—no matter how unbreakable—will arouse suspicion, and may in themselves be incriminating in countries where encryption is illegal. Therefore, whereas cryptography protects the contents of a message, steganography can be said to protect both messages and communicating parties.
Steganography includes the concealment of information within computer files. In digital steganography, electronic communications may include steganographic coding inside of a transport layer, such as a document file, image file, program or protocol. Media files are ideal for steganographic transmission because of their large size. As a simple example, a sender might start with an innocuous image file and adjust the color of every 100th pixel to correspond to a letter in the alphabet, a change so subtle that someone not specifically looking for it is unlikely to notice it.
Steganography has been widely used, including in recent historical times and the present day. Possible permutations are endless and known examples include:

THE TECHNIQUES

PHYSICAL

Hidden messages within wax tablets: in ancient Greece, people wrote messages on the wood, then covered it with wax upon which an innocent covering message was written.
Hidden messages on messenger's body: also used in ancient Greece. Herodotus tells the story of a message tattooed on a slave's shaved head, hidden by the growth of his hair, and exposed by shaving his head again. The message allegedly carried a warning to Greece about Persian invasion plans. This method has obvious drawbacks such as delayed transmission while waiting for the slave's hair to grow, and its one-off use since additional messages requires additional slaves.
In WWII, the French Resistance sent some messages written on the backs of couriers using invisible ink.
Hidden messages on paper written in secret inks, under other messages or on the blank parts of other messages.
Messages written in Morse code on knitting yarn and then knitted into a piece of clothing worn by a courier.
Messages written on the back of postage stamps.
During and after World War II, espionage agents used photographically produced microdots to send information back and forth. Microdots were typically minute, approximately less than the size of the period produced by a typewriter. WWII microdots needed to be embedded in the paper and covered with an adhesive (such as collodion). This was reflective and thus detectable by viewing against glancing light. Alternative techniques included inserting microdots into slits cut into the edge of post cards.
During World War II, a spy for Japan in New York City, Velvalee Dickinson, sent information to accommodation addresses in neutral South America. She was a dealer in dolls, and her letters discussed how many of this or that doll to ship. The stegotext was the doll orders, while the concealed "plaintext" was itself encoded and gave information about ship movements, etc. Her case became somewhat famous and she became known as the Doll Woman.
Cold War counter-propaganda. In 1968, crew members of the USS Pueblo (AGER-2) intelligence ship held as prisoners by North Korea, communicated in sign language during staged photo opportunities, informing the United States they were not defectors but rather were being held captive by the North Koreans. In other photos presented to the US, crew members gave "the finger" to the unsuspecting North Koreans, in an attempt to discredit photos that showed them smiling and comfortable.

DIGITAL

Modern steganography entered the world in 1985 with the advent of the personal computer applied to classical steganography problems. Development following that was slow, but has since taken off, going by the number of "stego" programs available: Over 725 digital steganography applications have been identified by the Steganography Analysis and Research Center. Digital steganography techniques include:

Concealing messages within the lowest bits of noisy images or sound files.
Concealing data within encrypted data or within random data. The data to be concealed is first encrypted before being used to overwrite part of a much larger block of encrypted data or a block of random data (an unbreakable cipher like the one-time pad generate ciphertexts that look perfectly random if you don't have the private key).
Chaffing and winnowing.
Mimic functions convert one file to have the statistical profile of another. This can thwart statistical methods that help brute-force attacks identify the right solution in a ciphertext-only attack.
Concealed messages in tampered executable files, exploiting redundancy in the i386 instruction set.
Pictures embedded in video material (optionally played at slower or faster speed).
Injecting imperceptible delays to packets sent over the network from the keyboard. Delays in keypresses in some applications (telnet or remote desktop software) can mean a delay in packets, and the delays in the packets can be used to encode data.
Content-Aware Steganography hides information in the semantics a human user assigns to a datagram. These systems offer security against a non-human adversary/warden.
Blog-Steganography. Messages are fractionalized and the (encrypted) pieces are added as comments of orphaned web-logs (or pin boards on social network platforms). In this case the selection of blogs is the symmetric key that sender and recipient are using; the carrier of the hidden message is the whole blogosphere.
Steganophony is the concealment of messages in Voice-over-IP conversations, for example in delayed or corrupted packets normally ignored by the receiver, or in unused header fields.

He is suspicious of Ruth's husband, Derek Kettering, who was on the same train but claims not to have seen Ruth. Katherine says she saw Derek enter Ruth's compartment. Poirot investigates and finds out that the murder and the jewel theft might not be connected, as the famous jewel thief The Marquis is connected to the crime. Eventually, the dancer Mirelle, who was on the train with Derek, tells Poirot she saw Derek leave Ruth's compartment around the time the murder would have taken place. Derek is then arrested. Everyone is convinced the case is solved, but Poirot is not sure. He does more investigating and learns more information, talking to his friends and to Katherine, eventually coming to the truth. He asks Van Aldin and Knighton to come with him on the Blue Train to recreate the murder. He tells them that Ada Mason is really Kitty Kidd, a renowned male impersonator and actress. Katherine saw what she thought was a boy getting off the train, but it was really Mason. Poirot realized that Mason was the only person who saw anyone with Ruth in the compartment, so this could have been a lie. He reveals that the murderer and Mason's accomplice is Knighton, who is really The Marquis. Since Knighton was supposedly in Paris, no one would have suspected him. Derek did go into the compartment to talk to Ruth once he saw she was on the train, but he left when he saw she was asleep. The police then arrest Knighton, and Van Aldin thanks Poirot for solving the case.

The novel is written in three parts: in the first place an account, largely from the perspective of the subsequent defendant, Elinor Carlisle, of the death of her aunt, Laura Welman, and the subsequent death of the victim, Mary Gerrard; secondly an account of Poirot's investigation; and, thirdly, a sequence in court, again mainly from Elinor's dazed perspective.
In the first part, distant cousins Elinor Carlisle and Roddy Welman are happily engaged to be married when they receive an anonymous letter claiming that someone is "sucking up" to their wealthy aunt, Laura Welman, from whom Elinor and Roddy expect to inherit a sizeable fortune. Elinor immediately suspects Mary Gerrard, the lodgekeeper's daughter, to whom their aunt has taken a considerable liking. They go down to visit their aunt: partly to see her and partly to protect their interests.
Mrs. Welman is helpless after a stroke and speaks of a desire to die, most notably to Peter Lord, her physician. After a second stroke, she asks Elinor to ask the family solicitor to prepare a will under which it is clear that Mary is to be a beneficiary. Roddy has fallen in love with Mary, provoking Elinor's jealousy. Mrs. Welman dies intestate during the night and her estate goes to Elinor outright as her only surviving blood relative.
Subsequently, Elinor releases Roddy from the engagement and makes moves to settle money on him (which he refuses) and two thousand pounds on Mary (which Mary accepts). At an impromptu tea party thrown by Elinor for Mary and Nurse Hopkins, Mary dies of poison that had supposedly been put into a fish-paste sandwich. Elinor (who has been behaving suspiciously) is put on trial. Worse, when the body of her aunt is exhumed it is discovered that both women died of morphine poisoning. Elinor had easy access to morphine from a bottle that apparently went missing from Nurse Hopkins’s bag.
In the second part of the novel, Poirot is persuaded to investigate the case by Peter Lord, who is in love with Elinor and wants her to be acquitted at all costs. Poirot's investigation focuses on a small number of elements. Was the poison in the sandwiches, which everyone ate, or something else, such as the tea that was prepared by Nurse Hopkins and drunk by only Mary and herself? What is the secret of Mary Gerrard's birth, which everyone seems so keen to conceal? Is there any significance in the scratch of a thorn on Nurse Hopkins's wrist? Is Peter Lord right to draw Poirot's attention to evidence that someone watching through the window might have poisoned the sandwich, thinking that it would be eaten by Elinor? In the third part of the novel, the case appears to go badly for Elinor, until her Defence unveils three theories that might exonerate her. The first (that Mary committed suicide) is difficult for anyone to really believe, and the second (Peter Lord's theory of the killer outside the window) is unconvincing. But the third theory is Poirot's.
A torn pharmaceutical label that the Prosecution supposed to have held morphine hydrochloride, the poison, had in fact held apomorphine hydrochloride, an emetic. If the means were simple, the motive is complex. Mary Gerrard is not the daughter of Eliza and Bob Gerrard. Poirot ends the novel by rebuking Peter Lord for his clumsy efforts to implicate the hypothetical killer outside the window. He has planted evidence and led Poirot to it in a desperate bid to free Elinor. Lord's momentary embarrassment is presumably alleviated by Poirot's assurance that it is to him, and not to her former love Roddy, that Elinor is now likely to become married.

The initial suspect is Ralph, who is engaged to Flora and stands to inherit his stepfather's fortune. Several critical pieces of evidence seem to point to Ralph. Poirot, who has just moved to the town, begins to investigate at Flora's behest.
The book ends with a then-unprecedented plot twist: Poirot, having exonerated all of the original suspects, lays out a completely reasoned case that the murderer is in fact Dr. Sheppard, who has not only been Poirot's assistant, but the story's narrator. In Sheppard's final edit of the story, he reveals in a sort of epilogue that he had hoped to be the one to write the account of Poirot's great failure, solving the murder of Roger Ackroyd. Thus, the last chapter acts as both Sheppard's confession and suicide note.

She said, "The ATM operates by having a person inside the box. Every time you put in your card, he takes it, looks at it, and checks his paper files and folders for your account number. Here he can find your PIN and check the balance. This person then asks you to ENTER your PIN, cross checks it, and if all matches, you can proceed. If not, he keeps your card.

"If you ask for a statement, he types it from his books and you get the printout. If you ask for a withdrawal, he checks the balance and any restrictions, and if all is ok, gives you the amount. He *then* calls all of the other branches and ATMs, tells them how much you've withdrawn, so they can update *their* books.

"Wonder where they find all those little people at??"

Maybe all of you still waiting what next will Google shows for tomorrow's logo, and this week,we will see all about Sesame Street.
On November 10th Sesame Street reaches its 40th anniversary and Google usually designs a logo for each anniversary. Well, this time it’s different as Google has decided to design more logos in order to celebrate Sesame Street, probably the most successful educational TV series in American history. There is a huge number of Sesame Street characters including Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Bert and Ernie, and Kermit The Frog. The show full of Muppets was very popular and it continues to be. We hope that the series will live forever and we appreciate that Google is celebrating Sesame Street’s characters. First we’ve seen Big Bird as a Google Logo, then the Cookie Monster, and now we can see Bert and Ernie.
There will be more Google Sesame Street logos and we hope to catch them all. We don’t know who will feature in the next logo so you should stay tuned because we’ll let you know as soon as a new one appears.

Scholars are not certain when each of the 154 sonnets was composed, but evidence suggests that Shakespeare wrote sonnets throughout his career for a private readership. It remains unclear if these figures represent real individuals, or if the authorial "I" who addresses them represents Shakespeare himself, though Wordsworth believed that with the sonnets "Shakespeare unlocked his heart".The 1609 edition was dedicated to a "Mr. W.H.", credited as "the only begetter" of the poems. It is not known whether this was written by Shakespeare himself or by the publisher, Thomas Thorpe, whose initials appear at the foot of the dedication page; nor is it known who Mr. W.H. was, despite numerous theories, or whether Shakespeare even authorised the publication.Critics praise the Sonnets as a profound meditation on the nature of love, sexual passion, procreation, death, and time^.
The production of Shakespeare's Sonnets was in some way influenced by the Italian sonnet: it was popularised by Dante and Petrarch and refined in Spain and France by DuBellay and Ronsard Shakespeare probably had access to these last two authors, and read English poets as Richard Field and John Davies.The French and Italian poets gave preference to the Italian form of sonnet—two groups of four lines, or quatrains (always rhymed a-b-b-a a-b-b-a) followed by two groups of three lines, or tercets (variously rhymed c-c-d e-e-d or c-c-d e-d-e)—which created a sonorous music in the vowel rich Romance languages, but in Shakespeare it is artificial and monotonous for the English language. To overcome this problem derived from the difference of language, Shakespeare chose to follow the idiomatic rhyme scheme used by Philip Sidney in his Astrophel and Stella (published posthumously in 1591), where the rhymes are interlaced in two pairs of couplets to make the quatrain.

Over the years some advertisers have asked about a variation of our service where by the advertiser only pays for clicks that your blog generates to their website. Over the next coming few weeks we will be experimenting with a new "pay-per-click" ad type also frequently referred to as PPC ads.
Because of these advertising inquiries we are going to experiment with these new pay-per-click ad types. This is an experimental period and there might be an occasional bug or issue that we will address.
- These ad types will be widely available to many bloggers. Advertisers will be seeking traffic from your blog. The more popular your blog is, the more clicks you'll likely generate.
- A specific tracking url will be assigned to you. Its important to use this tracking link in any blog-ads you post. If you dont use the tracking url assigned to you, your clicks wont be recorded.
- You will only be paid on a per-click basis or per action basis based on the ad type. The instructions on task assignments will alert you for these specific pay-per-click ads.
- Your clicks will be validated and totaled at the end of the month. The payment for clicks will be generated after they are totaled and paid 30 days after the end of the month.

Important Notes:
- Carefully check instructions emailed to you. A special tracking link will be assigned to your blog.
- Clicks are only tracked for approved tasks. If your task is rejected, clicks will not be recoreded.
- Payments are generated to you for these ad types only for clicks or sale/action generated. A note will specificy if its pay per click or pay per action. The clicks or actions are totalled at the beginning of the month for the previous month and are paid 30 days after.
- Clicks are checked for validity. Extra/double, invalid clicks, etc. are discarded. Please avoid clicking on your own ads or generate any type of fake clicks.
- If and when an advertiser decides to cancel a pay-per-click campaign, we will send you a notice to please remove the blog ad/link from your blog.
